Tech Assistance Project Calling for Volunteers with digital skills. Are you confident with tech, like computers, smartphones and tablets? Do you enjoy helping others? Do you want to share your skills?
A community shop chain has opened its branch in Ilford today (March 28) to help struggling residents “some respite from the present economic challenges”. Community Grocery opened its doors at the City Gates Church, on Clements Road, where families can have access to a wide range of affordable supermarket products for £4 per visit.
Our final workshop, part of the CreateAbles project will be a tasty Cooking Masterclass, led by our very own Steph. Come join Steph on Thursday 18th May at 1:30pm for an “Easy Cooking Masterclass” and turn from novice to adventurous!
Let’s make music and sing! Our tenth workshop, part of the CreateAbles project will be an interactive Music Making workshop, led by Sarah. Come and join us for an interactive Making Music workshop on Monday 27th March, 1:30pm till 3:30pm. We will use various household or office objects to create music and sing.
Our ninth workshop, part of the CreateAbles project will be a hands on Jewellery Making workshop, led by our very own Mel Ali. Come and join us on Wednesday 8th March, 2pm. Let’s add some glam to 2023!
A report from One Place East and Healthwatch Redbridge
In December 2021, One Place East and the Chair of their Advisory Committee contacted Healthwatch Redbridge as we wanted to raise concerns about the difficulty some patients were having contacting their GP practice and getting an appointment.
